How to get started with AI acquisition,
and what to prepare.
Getting started with Outgleam begins with entering a URL, then moves step by step through analyzing your exposure gap, fixing your website and connecting AI Commerce. This page covers how we expect to proceed once we launch and what you need to prepare.
4 STEPS
Four steps to get started
Steps 1–3 belong to AI Visibility and step 4 to AI Commerce. We expect steps 1–3 to be usable without step 4.

CHECKLIST
What the business prepares
All you need to start is the URL of your official site, viewable without logging in. System permissions are needed once you move on to the AI Commerce connection.
| Stage | What to prepare | Required / optional |
|---|---|---|
| Initial scan | URL of your official site, viewable without logging in | Required |
| Report settings | Brand names (including nicknames and spelling variants), main products and services, competitors to compare, and questions to check | Required |
| Website fixes | A person who can edit the site or CMS, or a way to ask your web agency | Required |
| Additional analysis | Search Console and Google Analytics access after ownership verification | Optional |
| AI Commerce connection | Admin access to your EC or booking system, an API key or approval of the integration app, test products or booking slots, and public policies on payment, shipping and returns | Only when connecting |
* What you need depends on the system and AI service and may change at launch.
FAQ
Common stumbling blocks and FAQ
Questions we often hear before getting started.
Is it fine if my site’s CMS is WordPress?
AI Visibility checks public pages, so it is designed to work with any publicly accessible website, including WordPress. How to fix structured data differs by CMS and theme, and we will explain this at launch. AI Commerce support is being validated separately.
Can we do this without in-house engineers?
Running the check and reading the report is designed to work without specialist knowledge. We present improvements in a form you can hand to whoever updates your site or your web agency. The AI Commerce connection needs help from someone with admin access to your systems.
Can I use only AI Visibility first and consider AI Commerce later?
Yes, that is the order we expect. The AI Commerce connection is optional and can proceed once your systems and the AI services’ conditions are ready.
Can AI answers stay the same even after I fix the information?
Yes. How fixes show up depends on each AI service, so we can’t guarantee it. Outgleam shows results measured under the same conditions, including when nothing changed.
When can I use it?
It is in development and not generally available yet. Join the waitlist and we will let you know at launch.
